Gisteravond heeft de gezamelijke bestuursoverdracht plaats gehad van de 3 Rotaract Clubs in Suriname. Het gaat namelijk om de Rotaract Club of Genesis, Paramaribo en F.R.E.S.H.

Bij Rotaract Genesis is Samuel Blankendal gepind tot president, bij Rotaract Paramaribo zal Derril Dankoor weer aanzitten als president en bij Rotaract F.R.E.SH Rolinzo Huur.

Het Rotary fiscaal jaar dat loopt van 1 juli tot en met 30 juni. Het Rotary Internationaal thema is dit jaar ‘Rotary Connects The World’. De service clubs zullen hierop voortborduren en vaker gezamelijke community projecten doen.{mp3}rotpres{/mp3}

Bij de overdrachtsceremonie is Anya Blankendal gepind tot de District Rotaract Representative (DRR). Zij neemt de functie over van Delon Earle van Guyana. De DRR is de hoogste Rotaractor in functie, van het district waar Suriname toebehoort.{mp3]anya{/mp3}
